November 22nd 2010 – Paintballers 4 Autism and Planet Eclipse Ltd are happy to announce that Planet Eclipse will be a proud supporter and sponsor of Paintballers 4 Autism. Planet Eclipse will be providing some great prizes for the inaugural Paintballers 4 Autism Winter Indoor 3-Man Event to be held on January 30th 2011 at D&D Paintball in East Hartford, CT.

Richard Greenaway Co-Founder of Paintballers 4 Autism says "This is a history making day for Paintballers 4 Autism. To have the backing of Planet Eclipse as a company and the personal support of Jack Wood their Head Designer is something this young non-profit needed. This is a shot in the arm to allow us to spread the word about Autism." Richard continues "PB4A is growing and we will be able to make alot of our dreams a reality with the backing of Eclipse."

Jack Wood of Planet Eclipse Ltd had this to say: “Autism is an often misunderstood an misdiagnosed issue within young children. Over the last few months I have been able to personally witness the distress and unhappiness that a child can suffer when their actions are not understood and acted upon in the correct way by the people responsible for looking after them. The first step in making sure this doesn’t become a regular and unnecessary problem is to help educate the public about the issues faced by children who suffer from Autistic Spectrum Disorders and how best achieve an early diagnosis. Treatment and support of their issues from a very early age can help to give children the tools they are going to need in later life to reach their full potential.

Organizations like Paintballers 4 Autism and people like Rick (Greenaway) are crucial to spreading this kind of information and awareness within our community, and as such it is an easy decision to make to offer our support and backing.

Planet Eclipse will be working with Paintballers 4 Autism to help spread the word, starting with sponsoring their upcoming 3-Man Indoor Event on January 30th 2011 in East Hartford, CT. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Put in a scratch team, or just get a few guys from your local bar or field, whatever it takes, please get down there and show your support.
Over the coming months we will hope to develop the relationship and help them achieve their goals of raising money to provide help and support to struggling families with some basic but necessary services and to raise awareness of the subject of Autism and how it effects children and families.”

Whenever we hear reports of any issues with our products – no matter how small – we like to jump on it as soon as possible, try our best to understand the root of the problem and then provide a definitive solution. Over the last couple of weeks we have received reports of some inconsistent air leaks from the frame and POPS area of the CS3. Every marker that we produce is thoroughly tested prior to packaging and shipping, but unfortunately these leaks have developed after shipping, and normally at temperatures below those that the markers experience in testing. This is generally down to contraction – or shrinkage – of seals that occurs as the temperature drops. The leak can be heard from around the grips or, with the grips removed, from the Regulator Hole A in the side of the frame. It can also be heard from the join between the bottom of the frame and the POPS. We have traced these leaks to what appears to be a bath of bottom tolerance 016 NBR70 o-rings used on the brass HPR Body (see

Is Paintball back in Malaysia ??????

We think it is and we are super excited about it. Penang Island Malaysia, Pearl of the Orient also known as the Prince of Wales Island founded by the British East India Company in 1786 by Sir Francis Light and made a British Crown Colony in 1867. An Free port Island made in spices and entrepot trading and resupplying ships to and from the Indian Ocean. Modern Penang is also a renowned tourist destination both for local and international visitors for its food, heritage, hotels, beaches, cruise terminal and family activities. This island rich with culture and ethnic diversity was also the venue of our Northern Paintball Super league – on May 12th and 13th. With the fullest support from the City Council of Penang – Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang – MBPP, and hosted on Georgetown city centre’s beautiful Polo Grounds saw the largest paintball tournament, Penang International Cup in Malaysia of the past few years with 89 teams. It's officially the week of the world's biggest tournament paintball event on the Planet, the PSP World Cup in Orlando-Florida and we cannot wait! With so much up for grabs this year for our teams we're super excited to see how they all perform. For some, it's about finishing what they started in 2014, for others it's about putting the team in the best possible position for 2015's first event. To help our teams build some momentum this week, beyond providing them with equipment that looks great and performs flawlessly, we thought we'd have some fun with them on social media and generate some online rivalry between them, as well as getting some fan support along the way.
