MPL Wrap Up 2010 !!

Jose Luis Alvarez dropped us a quick report of the final MPL event of 2010…..Enjoy !

The last event of the MPL took place in Toluca, Mexico. It was one of the best events I have been to in a very long time. We were honoured once again to have Gerry Bates, Planet Eclipse Master Tech attending the event offering technical support and assistance to the Players using Planet Eclipse markers.

The event offered stands for the spectators to watch games from as well as a large trade show at this event with a new designed Planet Eclipse booth leading the pack. Other vendors at the event included: Dye, Raza, Draxxus, GI Milsim, Kingman, Trinity, Kee Action Sports, Rock Star as well as food and a VIP bar with LOTS of beer !!

The event hosted 51 team in total and below are the results:

Open Division:

1st White Lion
2nd Over Head
3rd TJ All Starz
4th Heaven and Hell


Intermidiate:

1st Black Out
2nd Naxion
3rd Mariposas Salvajes
4th Naughty Jackales


Begineers:

1st Red Bulls
2nd Diablos
3rd Six Bullets
4th White Tigers


Which, after the scores has been added up, meant the champions of the MPL Season could be crowned:

Open Division Champions: Over Head, with TJ All Starz taking the runners up spot.

Intermidiate Champions Black Out (Who won every event!!!!) and the Beginners Champions were Six Bullets.

Eclipse teams kicked ass in 2010. From all the staff: Jose Luis Alvarez, Tono Alarcon, Jorge & Cesar, we would like to thank Planet Eclipse for all their support in making the MPL happen and their support for Paintball in Mexico. I feel like I am part of their family…. Thank you for that feeling.

Whenever we hear reports of any issues with our products – no matter how small – we like to jump on it as soon as possible, try our best to understand the root of the problem and then provide a definitive solution. Over the last couple of weeks we have received reports of some inconsistent air leaks from the frame and POPS area of the CS3. Every marker that we produce is thoroughly tested prior to packaging and shipping, but unfortunately these leaks have developed after shipping, and normally at temperatures below those that the markers experience in testing. This is generally down to contraction – or shrinkage – of seals that occurs as the temperature drops. The leak can be heard from around the grips or, with the grips removed, from the Regulator Hole A in the side of the frame. It can also be heard from the join between the bottom of the frame and the POPS. We have traced these leaks to what appears to be a bath of bottom tolerance 016 NBR70 o-rings used on the brass HPR Body (see

Is Paintball back in Malaysia ??????

We think it is and we are super excited about it. Penang Island Malaysia, Pearl of the Orient also known as the Prince of Wales Island founded by the British East India Company in 1786 by Sir Francis Light and made a British Crown Colony in 1867. An Free port Island made in spices and entrepot trading and resupplying ships to and from the Indian Ocean. Modern Penang is also a renowned tourist destination both for local and international visitors for its food, heritage, hotels, beaches, cruise terminal and family activities. This island rich with culture and ethnic diversity was also the venue of our Northern Paintball Super league – on May 12th and 13th. It's officially the week of the world's biggest tournament paintball event on the Planet, the PSP World Cup in Orlando-Florida and we cannot wait! With so much up for grabs this year for our teams we're super excited to see how they all perform. For some, it's about finishing what they started in 2014, for others it's about putting the team in the best possible position for 2015's first event. To help our teams build some momentum this week, beyond providing them with equipment that looks great and performs flawlessly, we thought we'd have some fun with them on social media and generate some online rivalry between them, as well as getting some fan support along the way.
