An update from the BAR!

Pub Crawling has had a quiet summer, taking care of our own lives; which, in turn, allows us to lead such a crazy paintball lifestyle. After an excellent first half of the 2011 season in which we walked away with 3 most valuable team awards, 1 most valuable player award, and 1 sportsmanship award; we are now excited to begin the second half of the season.

On August 13-14, we will attend TSSOC 2 day scenario game at the famous EMR Paintball Park in New Milford Pennsylvania. This game should easily see 500 or more players and we hope you will all come out and play this, one of the country’s best, premier field! http://www.emrpaintball.com/

The very next weekend, Saturday August 20, we play at Battlefront Paintball, near Youngstown Ohio. This one day game will be held at the ruins of an old munitions factory that exploded ‘way back in the day’. On October 8-9, we will head back to another of our favorite fields and return to play a 2 day scenario game at SPLATBROTHERS Paintball in Hopewell, Virgina. These games regularly hit 500 players and this game should be no different (although in the spring there was a tornado during the game, but so what…right?). No idea what side we’re on for this one, either way a good time is guaranteed by Ronn and Don (the splatbrothers themselves). http://www.splatbrothers.com/

Finally on November 12-13, we will end our season at Paintball Charleston in South Carolina. This field plays GREAT and is run by very friendly staffers and owners. The 2 day scenario is run by Ben Torricelli and MPP productions. These games are always fantastic and usually we about 500 players at this field. So, soon you’ll be seeing our regular updates again, until then hang loose and we hope to see you on the field (and here’s 2 pictures: one of our latest Prize Package winner…he was cute and I think he thought I was too, LOL…we make some people suffer to get their prize, and one of Maniac getting married with MJ as his best man and Lemming manning the camera…yes, it is under our team tent).

Whenever we hear reports of any issues with our products – no matter how small – we like to jump on it as soon as possible, try our best to understand the root of the problem and then provide a definitive solution. Over the last couple of weeks we have received reports of some inconsistent air leaks from the frame and POPS area of the CS3. Every marker that we produce is thoroughly tested prior to packaging and shipping, but unfortunately these leaks have developed after shipping, and normally at temperatures below those that the markers experience in testing. This is generally down to contraction – or shrinkage – of seals that occurs as the temperature drops. The leak can be heard from around the grips or, with the grips removed, from the Regulator Hole A in the side of the frame. It can also be heard from the join between the bottom of the frame and the POPS. We have traced these leaks to what appears to be a bath of bottom tolerance 016 NBR70 o-rings used on the brass HPR Body (see

Is Paintball back in Malaysia ??????

We think it is and we are super excited about it. Penang Island Malaysia, Pearl of the Orient also known as the Prince of Wales Island founded by the British East India Company in 1786 by Sir Francis Light and made a British Crown Colony in 1867. An Free port Island made in spices and entrepot trading and resupplying ships to and from the Indian Ocean. Modern Penang is also a renowned tourist destination both for local and international visitors for its food, heritage, hotels, beaches, cruise terminal and family activities. This island rich with culture and ethnic diversity was also the venue of our Northern Paintball Super league – on May 12th and 13th. With the fullest support from the City Council of Penang – Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang – MBPP, and hosted on Georgetown city centre’s beautiful Polo Grounds saw the largest paintball tournament, Penang International Cup in Malaysia of the past few years with 89 teams. PSP World Cup...#GOTEAM!

It's officially the week of the world's biggest tournament paintball event on the Planet, the PSP World Cup in Orlando-Florida and we cannot wait! With so much up for grabs this year for our teams we're super excited to see how they all perform. For some, it's about finishing what they started in 2014, for others it's about putting the team in the best possible position for 2015's first event. To help our teams build some momentum this week, beyond providing them with equipment that looks great and performs flawlessly, we thought we'd have some fun with them on social media and generate some online rivalry between them, as well as getting some fan support along the way.
