ETV The Roster: Featuring San Antonio X-Factor Season 1

The NFL has Hardknocks from HBO, The Premiere League has Being Liverpool with Fox Sports, now professional paintball has The Roster from Planet Eclipse!!!

Planet Eclipse and the team behind the acclaimed film series Artifact brings you The Roster,  a new fly-on-the-wall docu-series starring San Antonio X-Factor.

The Roster takes you inside the off-season assembly of a professional paintball team, and how that creation performs on the 2012 PSP and NPPL Professional Circuits.

Beginning with tryouts/camp in January, X-Factor looks at a field of more than 30 players to fill just 5 spots-4 on the development squad and one on the pro team.

The Roster is directed by veteran action sports filmmaker Dan Napoli, and narrated by the voice of the game, Matt Marshall.


Episode 2 Synopsis: 

ETV Cameras descend on X-Factor Paintball Park in San Antonio, Texas. Cameras roll on Day 2 of Mini-Camp/Tryouts as the original field of nearly four-doxen hopefuls has been narrowed to 15.

And of the four veteran pro players camp-two will fall. Will it be 

Billy Bernachhia-(the paintball famous,) 
Drew Hire, (the journeyman utility player,) 
Chris Wilson-(the veteran looking for one last ride,) 
or Jamie Beadle-(the sophomore pro from across the pond) 

After a half-day of drills and 3-on-3 scrimmages, only 5 hopefuls will make it to the next round.  Who will rise and who will fall?

Whenever we hear reports of any issues with our products – no matter how small – we like to jump on it as soon as possible, try our best to understand the root of the problem and then provide a definitive solution. Over the last couple of weeks we have received reports of some inconsistent air leaks from the frame and POPS area of the CS3. Every marker that we produce is thoroughly tested prior to packaging and shipping, but unfortunately these leaks have developed after shipping, and normally at temperatures below those that the markers experience in testing. This is generally down to contraction – or shrinkage – of seals that occurs as the temperature drops. The leak can be heard from around the grips or, with the grips removed, from the Regulator Hole A in the side of the frame. It can also be heard from the join between the bottom of the frame and the POPS. We have traced these leaks to what appears to be a bath of bottom tolerance 016 NBR70 o-rings used on the brass HPR Body (see

Is Paintball back in Malaysia ??????

We think it is and we are super excited about it. Penang Island Malaysia, Pearl of the Orient also known as the Prince of Wales Island founded by the British East India Company in 1786 by Sir Francis Light and made a British Crown Colony in 1867. An Free port Island made in spices and entrepot trading and resupplying ships to and from the Indian Ocean. Modern Penang is also a renowned tourist destination both for local and international visitors for its food, heritage, hotels, beaches, cruise terminal and family activities. This island rich with culture and ethnic diversity was also the venue of our Northern Paintball Super league – on May 12th and 13th. With the fullest support from the City Council of Penang – Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang – MBPP, and hosted on Georgetown city centre’s beautiful Polo Grounds saw the largest paintball tournament, Penang International Cup in Malaysia of the past few years with 89 teams. It's officially the week of the world's biggest tournament paintball event on the Planet, the PSP World Cup in Orlando-Florida and we cannot wait! With so much up for grabs this year for our teams we're super excited to see how they all perform. For some, it's about finishing what they started in 2014, for others it's about putting the team in the best possible position for 2015's first event. To help our teams build some momentum this week, beyond providing them with equipment that looks great and performs flawlessly, we thought we'd have some fun with them on social media and generate some online rivalry between them, as well as getting some fan support along the way.
