Sun, beaches, drinks and paintball - Adventures in Greece

Image
We have been to Greece several years in a row now for Anthrax very own Med Cup, its a 2 day event with the best hosts, atmosphere and people gathered for the love of the sport ,to play and to have fun and party together. This year Kosta and the Anthrax crew took it further than ever for the players. From Tuesday to Friday before the event they rented bungalows at the beach, boats and professional trainers for the players making Anthrax Tropical Booth-camp! And all their hard work really showed, this was an amazing trip! Tuesday we were brought to a place called Porto Elea, a small port with cabins and a great view of the sea. We got the instructions for the camp and did some bathing before we ended the day with a great Greek meal and a Ozuo party. The Greek people usually eat around 22(!) but since we were a lot of people from different countries they met us half-way at 20 :)  We were loads of different nationalities at the camp; Norwegian, Swedish,Danish,German,Iranian

Heaven has a new Angel today…

Angie Bordaen was hit with ALS a couple of years ago but she refused to let the crippling disease stop her being involved in the sport she loved. She remained active in the business as well as attending as many events in Europe and the USA as she could. Angie was loved by so many for so many different reasons. I for one have had many a crazy conversation with Angie over the years, she cost me a fortune when she took my wife out shopping in Orlando. But I will remember her for her strength in the face of a horrible decease. If you don’t know what ALS is it’s a disease that the Ice Bucket Challenge helped to raise a huge amount of money for. Huge break throughs in ALS due to the money and awareness the Ice Bucket challenge created, unfortunately too late to help Angie… Today is a very sad day. My thoughts are with Frank who has been a rock by Angie’s side during these very difficult last few years and to Angies friends and family. Rest in Peace Angie and get a to

SLC Faction.. getting closer !

Image
Planet Eclipse would like to congratulate Team SLC Faction for finishing in 2 nd place in D4 and 3 rd place in D5.  The D4 squad was undefeated all the way into the finals but lost a hard fought match and finished the event in 2 nd . The D5 squad had an excellent event being their first tournament ever. With good practice and training they were able to pull off a 3 rd place finish. We are excited to see the entire team have a strong finish in both divisions. The event was held at All Star Paintball and was an affiliate of the PCPL.  Follow SLC Faction on facebook to be informed on what events they are playing next and when their next Planet Eclipse Demo day will be held. Their demo days are great way for any player to try out all Planet Eclipse markers for free” says Marc Lancia of Planet Eclipse  CLICK HERE TO FOLLOW SLC FACTION   Pictures were by Brian Morill

In 2016, 2 top teams from WI decided to join forces to make one powerhouse team and with that Midwest Alliance was born. Midwest Alliance, a D4 Planet Eclipse sponsored team placed 2nd in the opening round of the Commando Paintball Series held in Little Suamico on Sunday, May 1, 2016. Midwest Alliance placed 2nd out of 10 teams, missing out on the 1st place podium to Siege Paintball, based out of Mukwanago, Wisconsin. Midwest Alliance will seek to improve upon its mark at the next event in the series scheduled for July 10, 2016. We would like to thank Planet Eclipse and Marc Lancia for believing in us and supplying our team with the best markers and custom team jerseys in the industry! says Steve Jamroz. “We have been working with Wisconsin Evolution before they joined forces to develop Midwest Alliance. For such a young team they have done much more then most teams do to help develop the sport and promote their team. Its great to see teams taking the initiative th
