Beira Mar Mid-Season - Event 3: Portuguese National League

Mid season has arrived and the Atlantic Games Beira-Mar Gold prepared themselves, they were focused with the purpose of winning. 

So the first game would be a very difficult test against the Blue Falcon Squadron, in which Beira-Mar played very solid and won 4-0. 

Then the most difficult game of the prelims against Lisbon Benfica. It was a game where it was already very hot in the field, a game where we had to give everything to come out victorious. It started with a point in our favor, then Lisbon Benfica ties, extended the advantage and even was 4-2 in favor of Lisbon Benfica. Our coach Ângelo Canelas made some tactical changes that made Atlantic Games Beira-Mar tie 4-4. Following an overtime time and Beira Mar won, 5-4.

Next we played against Grupo Desportivo Estoril Praia and we won 4-0. And as the last game against the Huargo that was another win for Atlantic Games Beira-Mar Gold. 

In the semi-finals against Lisbon Benfica we knew we had to make some changes, they also did, but even so we won 5-2, 

On to the final against Sporting in which was a very balanced game, but in the end they played better and we lost 4- 2 taking another second place.
